The result is a collection of files on the PC that then must be uploaded to a web server using FTP software… yet another skill to learn. Even then web servers do not behave the same as a PC so the result is often failure and requires further attempts until it's all working properly.
All you need to do - using regular web browser software (such as Internet Explorer) - is visit a site with our technology installed and click the ‘build a web site’ button. Then you'll see a range of possible page styles to choose from. Just click whichever takes your fancy (you can always change it later). This brings up a template. All you need to do then is click to choose a photos, maps or other images (even upload your own if you have them); fill in the appropriate boxes (by typing in your name, contact details and whatever else you want to tell the world about your business). Then do the same for more pages. (Our current systems have the facility for up to six pages). When ready, click the ‘submit’ button. Your web site is then generated by the server and goes online straightaway with a proper web address accessible from anywhere in the world.
